TAKEAWAY:

At River Styx what you see is what you get, and then some more. Under ace designer Elliott Walker, the River Styx identity perfectly embodies the offbeat character of the whole restaurant experience. The restaurant mascot, drawn by Scott Lenhardt, is as deviously conniving as he is supportively ushering you in to the next thing. Having no singular expression the identity instead lives as a kit of many parts adding up to the whole. Just when you think you got it, you run into something that isn't quite right, but very much so belongs.
